“Let all things be done decently and in order.”

— 1 Corinthians 14:40

Throughout this year we have been learning what it means to live in the reality of “Your Kingdom Come.” We have recognized the Kingdom, come under the authority of the King, learned to influence and advance His Kingdom, received power and boldness through Him, and discovered our place within His Body and His family. Now comes the question: What has the King brought us together to do?

God does not establish order simply for the sake of organization. He orders His people for His mission. Jesus is the Head, His people are His Body, every member has a place and function, and together we are sent to make His Kingdom visible in the world.

October moves us from belonging to participation, from participation to function, and from function to mission
