How God’s Kingdom Expands Through His People

As we continue our journey through this year’s theme, “Your Kingdom Come,” we now turn our focus to the expansion of God’s Kingdom in the world.

Over the past months, we have seen that the Kingdom of God is present, that Christ reigns with all authority, and that believers are called to live influential lives that reflect His rule. But the Kingdom was never meant to remain contained within us—it is meant to move outward.

Jesus consistently taught that the Kingdom of God grows, spreads, and transforms lives wherever it takes root. Through the lives of His people, the message of reconciliation advances, disciples are formed, and the influence of Christ begins to reshape communities and nations.

In April, we will explore how God expands His Kingdom through faithful believers who live on mission. We will see how the early church carried the gospel beyond themselves and how that same mission continues today.

The Kingdom grows when God’s people live with purpose, proclaim the gospel, and participate in His work of restoring lives.

Jesus described this movement when He said:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed… which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree.”

— Matthew 13:31–32

What begins small becomes powerful when God causes it to grow.

As we step into April, we will discover what it means to participate in the advance of God’s Kingdom—living not only as citizens of heaven, but as people sent into the world with His message and His power.
