You have miracles, better catch them all!

Galatians 3:5-7 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Our world is clearly losing touch with reality when so many people chase "Pokemon" around on their cell phones. But what does this say about human nature? We are always looking for a fix. Always looking for something to make our lives more of an adventure. We love a good treasure hunt, and today people can take us on an adventure, with the technology in our hands. Faith takes us on an adventure as well!

If you are a child of God your life should already be pretty exciting. The kind of excitement I am talking about is moving beyond chasing figments of our imagination to chasing after God. You see, there are miracles in your life that you should be looking for. Not only that but you should be praying for them regularly and thanking God for them consistently. I am fully convinced that when I thank God for the miracles in my life, more of them occur. I look for them, because I expect that this is pretty normal for God. Is it that more occur or that I find more of the ones already planned, what difference does it make really? I "gotta catch em all"!

Scripture reminds us that God ministers to us by the Spirit, and He works miracles in our lives through that very Spirit. I can personally attest to miracles both small and great, things I prayed for and things God did for me without me asking. Either way I am greatly blessed when I see them and I realize that my God wants me more excited about chasing after Him! Not only that but as I did this Sunday, my God wants me to share them so other people get excited and start looking for theirs!

There are miracles in your life that you should be looking for!

As we study the miracles of Jesus, I want you to see that the miraculous is normal for the believer. It is part of God's nature to demonstrate miracles for us so we share them with others. The excitement and adventure of it is that you find them daily, and you share them as often as you can. People watch what you are chasing so when people know that Jesus is a miracle-maker, they come looking for Him too! Always remember that Jesus also wants to catch them all!

Our Confession in Prayer!

Join us in the following prayer:

"Heavenly Father, we know that we can get distracted by the things in our lives and that you are a miracle-working God. Not only that but your love for us makes our lives exciting as you share new mercies with us every morning. Let us be diligent each morning to seek you, and to find the blessings you leave for us. Let us share those testimonies with others to demonstrate how much you love us. Let us glorify you in the daily miracles that we find, and let us always look to you for that excitement. We know that we are loved because we find your gifts and miracles wherever and whenever we look for them. Thank you for them, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen!"
