SOZO Loveland Church updates on COVID-19

dear church family

SOZO Loveland Church, COVID-19 Update: 6/5/2021

From the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic last March, you and your family’s health and safety have been our highest priority. As we have navigated every decision over the last 15 months, we have tried our very best to stay true to our mission, vision, and values - while at the same time being committed to listening, following, and honoring advice from medical professionals and guidelines from government leaders.

On Wednesday, May 12, Governor DeWine announced that beginning Wednesday, June 2nd the Ohio Department of Health will remove all pandemic health orders that directly affect us as a church and that each Ohio citizen will make their own decisions about wearing a mask and social distancing -- and when, for them, that is appropriate.

So beginning Wednesday, June 2nd, SOZO Loveland Church will take the following steps:

  • Each person attending SOZO Loveland Church will make their own decision about wearing a mask and social distancing.

  • We will be operating at full capacity in our services, but will continue to space our rows 6 feet from the row in front.

  • Each person attending any other SOZO Loveland Church events outside of Sunday mornings will make their own decision about wearing a mask and social distancing.

  • Each parent will make their own decision about their child wearing a mask while attending SOZO Kids & SOZO YTH Experiences

  • Routine cleaning will regularly occur to continually offer a safe and excellent environment for you and your family in both common spaces and all SOZO Kids & SOZO YTH Rooms

  • All Sunday Services will continue to be streamed online and posted to YouTube.

We can not thank you enough for your flexibility and understanding over the last 15 months. From the very beginning of all of this, we said that we would get through this and that we would get through this together. Today we find ourselves one step closer to getting through this together. We are excited for what is to come and believe that God is going to continue to do great things in and through our church!

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

Pray for our community and those directly affected by COVID-19. Pray for the health care workers that are treating the sick and those public health administrators making difficult decisions. Pray that God would protect our community from further spread of the virus.

Reflect Jesus. In these anxious days, the church (all of us) can shine as a light of hope, care, faith, patience and prudence. We can demonstrate for the world how our faith provides true assurance against worry and fear.

Practice recommended personal hygiene. Wash your hands frequently. Avoid contact with the sick. Stay home from public functions if you’re sick.
