Dear Church Family,
If you have lived in this city for any time you know that we have continued to both battle, and make progress, on issues of "race". Like any city, we have had ups and downs, but I believe God continues to have His hand on it. You will also know that our church is an example of how healing can occur over time. This is a topic that we want to encourage others in by ourselves being a living example to our city.
This is why we believe a prayer walk in downtown Cincinnati, is the right next step. This week some Pastors and I met and committed to a show of unity around the power of God to heal through prayer. The problems we face are generational and stubborn but the solution will always involve Godly people praying for peace, justice, and reconciliation.
We would love for anyone in our church to join us this coming Saturday as we come together from 10AM to 12PM for a prayer walk from Yeatman’s Cove ( Next to Sawyer Point ) to Fountain Square. We will be one of more than 50 churches representing the gospel of Jesus. There is an opportunity for you to simply come or to volunteer. If interested please let us know by RSVP.
If you cannot come, please join us by praying where you are!
God Bless you, for God called us to be His representatives of His redemptive power.
