Everyone is invited to go apple picking at A&M Orchards in Midland, Ohio after service on Sunday, September 25th. A&M is about a 35 minute drive from Living Word. They are open from 1 until 5 PM.
The orchard has a large variety of apples to choose from: Golden Delicious, Jonathon, Winesap, and Red Delicious to name a few. A tractor drawn hay wagon makes periodic rounds of the orchard, if you are looking for a ride back to the barn with your bucket full of apples. The sales room at the barn offers fresh apple cider, apple butter and various sundries. Picked apples are also for sale if you are less adventurous. Pumpkins are also available. The orchard is located at 22141 State Route 251.
From LWF, turn left on Fields Ertel to right on Montgomery Road (22&3). Stay on Montgomery Road for about 12 miles through Morrow. On the north side of Morrow, turn right onto SR 123. Stay on SR 123 nearly 16 miles through Blanchester until it dead ends into SR 251 about 7 miles past Blanchester. Turn left. A&M Orchards will be a little over a mile on the left.
