Be strong and courageous!

In a moment you can go from standing in battle to kneeling before the Lord. From walking freely to needing God to sustain you. Man's reality is that even when you are walking freely God is sustaining you. Perhaps that is the big deception, that we are in fact able to live without God. We cannot. Some days are a reminder, that God is necessary for every moment of our very lives.

Life has a way of being unpredictable, but I know one person who is the same yesterday, today and will be forever. That is the very definition of faithfulness. No wavering, no repenting of His actions...Just steady firm, clear, and loving direction. This is where we find Job at the beginning of His trials. He knew that His only way out was God. Nothing we have is ours really, it all comes from God if it is good. He did not even stop to lament his "losses" except to understand that anything He had came from God in the first place. Job was a wise man and he is a great example to follow. 

In this world we have trouble sometimes just so people can see how to walk that trouble out, while glorifying God. God can and does give us everything we have, He sustains it with His protection over us, and when He allows situations, He does so knowing we can make it through. Not just that but He knows we can be victorious in it. God is not worried about whether you can make it, He knows you can. If you listen to Him, He will encourage you to continue to walk forward in His strength. 

So, then what is our role in this? To worship Him and glorify Him through it all. No "woe is me"...Just "righteous is He"! No, wondering whether God loves you or how many sins your have committed. He already promised that HE would never leave YOU nor forsake YOU! We have something even more precious than Job had, a covenant agreement that is perfect. God is committed to our journey and He alone is the one who will make sure that you make it!

If you do not "feel" like that right now, its alright, you are human. Take the words of scripture and speak them over yourself and your situation givinig honor and glory to the God who is always your only way out!

Our Confession in Prayer!

Join us in the following prayer:

"Heavenly Father, we know in this world we will have trouble, but we also know we will always have YOU!

May we always have a praise in our hearts for what you do for us. May we always thank you for your magnificent grace toward us. Thank you for your love, thank you for your many blessings and help us to see the way through our trials. We remember what you told us, that the righteous will have many trials, but our God delivers us from them all!!

And God as we walk through life, let us be the examples of encouragement that others need to know that God makes us strong when we are weak. He is the reason for our joy and our courage. He is the reason for our praise!!
